The Lake Erie Chemical Co. Cleveland Ohio “Gas Billy” 1930’s.

Capable of firing one round of CN gas munition. The device is now classified as a prohibited weapon in Canada as it can fire a 12ga shotgun shell with a minor modification to the barrel. The Gas Billy was around in the 70s and 80s but it was rarely deployed.

The current gas grenades used by CSC that have an M201A1 mechanical fuze can also fire a .38 cal bullet or can be used to ignite an improvised explosive device.  That’s why it was important to collect them all after use.
